‘64 COOPER S


young. “My very first car was a Mini 850
in hearing aid beige, it was the car that
started me off on my trading journey. My
sister’s neighbour crashed into it –
writing it off. I bought it back off the
insurance company, repaired it with my
dad and sold it for more money. I’ve
always had this fascination with Minis.
As I’ve got older, I’ve always looked back
as Minis being my favourite driving
experience and I’ve driven everything...
I’ve built a career around driving but

of a straight-cut box. “A little bit of air
conditioning would help... but it’s just
brilliant!” Mike laughs as it effortlessly

Interior has been lifted from an
early Riley Elf - this may have been
the result of a mid life revamp.

Speedo is Cooper S, but not correct for this car.

Rebuild will see gold brocade
return to the Cooper.
