Terminally-rotten old Fords
With a classic Ford or two in the
garage, there’s not much excuse to
go for a walk — unless you’re
hunting treasures for Rusty Corner.
“I spotted this Fiesta 1.1 Popular
white rediscovering some dog
walking paths near where I live in
South Yorkshire,” says Pat Burns. “I
can remember it being there the last
time I was here 10 years ago. It then
looked as if it had just been parked
up and abandoned — a real shame.”

BACK IN THE DAY
From the Classic Ford archives

SEPTEMBER 2014
Yes, it’s that Homebuilt Heroes time
of year with six crackers gracing the
September 2014 issue’s front cover,
including Dan Smiths clever Crossflow
turbo conversion for his Mk1 Escort, and a
super-rare Genesis Mk3 Escort rebuild. On
the tech front, Jon showed us how to get
8x13s on the rear of our cars, and we even
gave away a giant poster. How about that?

SEPTEMBER 2009
A decade ago we marked the Anglia’s 50th
birthday (a month early...) with a special
