- Work Under Cover
There is nothing worse than working in
the rain, snow and cold, and this one goes
back to working with your mates —
because if you’ve a good bunch around
you, renting a communal workshop’s not a
bad idea. Be careful though, as it’s the
quickest way to fall out too — there will
always be one that uses everyone else’s
tools, makes a mess and never
contributes. The trick is knowing who
you’re going in with — but make it
business-like and set up a bank account to
pay the rent with everyone paying in by
standing order...
- And Finally...
Remember it’s all about
enjoying yourself. Love life and
love building cars. It’s as simple
as that! - Small Victories
Get one thing done at a time,
and don’t work on another till
you have. View everything as
one unit contributing to the
main one. A big project is
only a load of small projects
joined together — get one bit
of it done and fi nished as well
as you can, and you’ll fi nd
that suddenly you’ve made
massive progress. - Do One Car At A Time
Work on one project at a time — get that one
fi nished before moving on to the next...
Remember, a car in bits multiplies its volume
tenfold and you have to fi nd somewhere to
store it all, so it doesn’t get damaged...
“A BIG PROJECT
IS REALLY ONLY
A LOT OF SMALL
PROJECTS THAT
ARE JOINED
TOGETHER ”
