his Kawasaki was the first
trike I’d ever built and it
all started, believe it or
not, with me building the
rear end. ‘Not that odd’,
you might think, but I should
add that this was before I’d even
decided on what bike or engine I
was going to use!

I found out by doing a bit
of research that a limited slip
differential is, by far, the best
for trike building. So, looking
about on the internet, as you do,
I found a busted Ford Escort
RS Turbo gearbox fitted with
a limited slip diff for £50! ‘I’m
having that,’ I thought, so I did.
