SHANE’S TRIKE
Now, when I got some information on Shane’s
trike, it referred to it as ‘the scruffy one’, and when
Shane himself was described as ‘also the scruffy
one’, I suspected that the fine gentleman himself
may not have written those words, although when
you’re Rep of your county you can say (almost)
anything you like! Anyway, Shane’s trike is powered
by a Rover 3500 motor with a Borg Warner
3-speed gearbox mated straight to the diff. It has
a front end by fellow county member and trike
owner, James Smith, using a Triumph Rocket 3 rear
wheel. The colour is simply—and quite accurately—
described as various shades of black and rust with
a few shiny bits.
