TRISTAN’S TRIKE
This particular trike is very much a work in progress and is
owned by Tristan. Bought in 2017 as an ugly runner (‘runner’
was perhaps the kindest thing you could say about it then)
with a Rover 3.5 litre V8 engine, it has since undergone
a considerable amount of major surgery. That’s included
shortening the frame by twelve inches, raking the front end
out to add trail, dropping the seat rails as low as possible,
adding a steering wheel and, after Tristan killed the original
Rover engine and gearbox), fitting a 4.0 litre TVR Chimaera
V8, all the work of Tristan and Will from NCC Sussex. Future
plans include shortening the rear axle to allow for wider
wheels and making new seats.
