infatable raft, oxygen bottles,
ire extinguisher and seat
belts were all brush painted.
After a clear coat a grey wash
was applied to achieve more
depth to the painted parts.
The completed cockpit was installed into
the two fuselage halves and this went together
without a problem. The overall it was quite
good and only small amounts of iller were
needed during the build. Next, the wings and
horizontal stablisers were glued to the fuselage.
The leading edges were sanded smooth as
were the seam lines where the wings meet the
fuselage. The wings were primed grey, with a
couple of panels primed white. Also, some areas
were painted white randomly as a form of pre-
shading. Gunze Aqueous yellow was airbrushed
next, trying to keep the white areas only just
visible through the paint. This made the
large, one colour areas a bit more
interesting to look at.


After the yellow paint had dried for
a few days, the wings were masked
of and the fuselage and walkways
on the wings were primed black.
The walkways were masked too
and Alclad White Aluminium was
airbrushed next, followed by a coat
of Alclad Aquagloss as a protective
layer. The engine
