MEET JOHN
Growing up in
southwest Ohio,
which at one
time was a hub
of automobile
racing, I started
building models at age 6. My
dad was a champion stock car
driver, so I was constantly
around the building and
racing of full-size stock cars.
Today, I’m known for building
stock cars and late models,
or, as I call them, “Saturday
night stockers.” In my past
life, I worked in architecture
and have a lot of time for
building models now that I’m
retired. This took me about a
year to build.
