Quinton Tucker chopped off the roof, lowered the suspension, and added gold
lowrider wheels to his 1941 Chevrolet pickup. Quinton painted a two-tone paint
scheme spraying Tamiya clear yellow over a silver base and hit the fenders
and running boards with Tamiya black.

▲ Jeff Harper started with a 1995 snap kit dually pickup, then added a GMC
TopKick resin nose and a modified tank on the rear to create his Rat Patrol
exterminating service truck. The truck body wears Testors root beer, and the
tank was hit with Testors color-shift paint.

◀ Dominick Gerace’s love for super cars lead him to build his 1970 Chevrolet
Nova as a Yenko Deuce. The one-month box-stock build is painted with
DupliColor red and two-part clear to seal in those iconic Yenko markings.

AMC was never the heavy hitter
that the Big Three were, but Bob
Kopis built one of American
Motors’ most iconic factory hot
rods. Bob’s 1969 SC/Rambler
features a fully wired and
plumbed engine, fuel and brake
lines, and valve stems on the
wheels. The patriotic paint
scheme was accomplished with
automotive lacquer paints.

Inspired by a race car from the ’80s, Angel Arroyo’s Datsun
Sunny 1200 features a multi-hued lacquer paint scheme,
scratchbuilt chassis, and a modified 1.8L four-cylinder engine.
Angel took about a month to complete his drag car.
