Domaine Divio 2016 Hyland Vineyard Pinot
Noir (McMinnville). Completing Divio’s 2016
lineup of AVA-focused Pinots, this limited-release
wine offers a core of ripe cherry fruit with high-
lights of citrus peel, coffee grounds and iron. Deft
and detailed, this spent just under a year in 40%

Elk Cove 2018 Estate Pinot Blanc (Willa-
mette Valley). Intense in juicy, succulent
fruit, this opens with lovely botanical aromas and
flavors of ripe lime, grapefruit and fresh apple. The

Lamadrid 2017 Single Vineyard Reserva
Cabernet Franc (Agrelo). Aromas of blue-
berry and black currant are focsued yet intense
on the nose. The saturated palate brings dark
plum and light herbal flavors that only improve

bec (Agrelo). A full nose of cassis and black
plum aromas offers an open invitation to an intense
palate. More black fruit flavors come with a touch

Highlands). This wine shows roasted herb,
packed purple flowers and a hint of caramel on the

Leeuwin Estate 2017 Art Series Riesling (Mar-
garet River). This wine offers slightly under-
ripe pineapple, citrus, freshly picked green herbs and
honeysuckle on the nose, all backed by a prominent

wound, sliced by fabulous citrusy acidity and juicy

Shiraz (Langhorne Creek). This powerful
wine offers a heady mix of strawberry, raspberry and

McKinney 2016 The Baron (Santa Barbara
County). Aromas of black plum, roasted ber-
ries and baking spice are rich and ripe on the nose
of this blend of 52% Syrah, 26% Grenache, 13%
Mourvèdre and 9% Viognier. There is a chalky ten-
sion to the palate, where a rich black-plum flavor
is met with elegant touches of lavender and other
