RUM WILD
The Old Fashioned gets
modernized with a new spirit.
At
heart, this is a rum-based
Old Fashioned. But rather
than fruit muddled in, this
drink has the glass rinsed
with maraschino liqueur for a subtle
cherry-almond hint. This recipe was
built to showcase Afrohead, a rum made
in Trinidad from Dominican sugarcane,
which has a brown sugar and spice flavor
profile; any good aged rum can be used.
