Intersecting wine and fun
Aft er various stints at New York City hotspots like Eleven Madison Park, Oceana, Jean-Georges and Nix,
Morris now oversees the liquor, beer and wine selections at Intersect, Lexus’s immersive cultural space in
Manhattan. Wine remains her main thrill and area of expertise, however, and she oft en alters Intersect’s
specialized list to be in tune with a visiting chef’s country, menu or culinary philosophy. “My goal is to make
every guest feel excited about wine, whether their selection is an old favorite or a new discovery,” she says.
Morris also recently began to oversee the wine program for Untitled at the Whitney.
