an infinitely better idea than
killing characters off and
bringing them back from
the dead (which, at this
point, has gotten a bit out
of hand). I’d much prefer
that characters leave town
but we get to drop in on
their lives from time to time
(How about Rex, Emily
and Mimi?). So, bravo,
DAYS, for the app and
especially the new content.
Please keep it coming!

of strengths: a talented
cast and crew, a legend-
ary history. I respect the
fact that DAYS works
with a limited budget
and a challenging tap-
ing schedule. Good
storytelling is good
storytelling; you can
tell compelling stories
on a limited budget.

following to Needs
Improvement.- Diversify charac-
ters by bringing back
SOMETHING EXTRA
I have been meaning
to write about how much
I am enjoying the DOOL
App for a while, so I was
delighted to see it high-
lighted in your August 19
edition. The app is great
for those times when I
have finished watching
DAYS, but am yearning
to see more of my favorite
Salemites. The different
segments are hilarious,
and the actors all seem to
be having a blast, which
makes it that much more
fun. And now with the
addition of original content— well, it’s nothing short
of genius! Seeing what
our favorite characters are
doing while off screen is
fantastic — it perfectly
complements the idea of
bringing characters back
for shorter story arcs. In
fact, it makes that strategy
even more viable. In addi-
tion to Chad, Abby and
Austin, I’d love to see what
Sami, Lucas, Allie, Johnny,
Carrie, Kimberly, Theresa
(or any other characters
who we’ve come to care
about) are doing. That way,
they may be gone from the
