SEPTEMBER 2019 71
Two Toyota Fortuners will be up for grabs and there are two
ways to win: enter as a challenger or back your hero from the
comfort of your own home.
Come out on top and a brand-new Fortuner, among other
amazing prizes from Garmin, Specialized and Salomon, could
be yours.
GOT WHAT IT TAKES
TO COMPETE?
Highbury Media is on the hunt for a worthy contestant
to represent us as our challenger. One deserving semi-
finalist will be selected from each of the following titles:
Getaway Magazine, Leisure Wheels Magazine, or SA
Rugby Magazine. A single representative will then be
chosen from the three semi-finalists to compete in this
year’s 4×4 challenge.
Our challenger will team up with one of four South African
sports heroes, including green and gold rugby star Oupa
Mohojé, Dakar Rally legend Giniel de Villiers, Olympic rower
Kirsten McCann, and unstoppable choreographer Nkateko
‘Takkies’ Dinwiddy.
Our entrant, together with the assigned hero, will compete in
the Fortuner Challenge against three other teams at the Pezula
Resort in Knysna.
THE COMPETITION
Over the course of two days,
you’ll take on a series of
gruelling obstacles that
require both physical and
mental stamina.
Last year, competitors
were pushed to their limits
as they cycled, swam and
paddled their way to the
finish line. A night navigation
run and strength test,
requiring contestants to pull
the dead weight of a Fortuner
up a gradient, were also thrown
into the mix. Be prepared for
an epic battle.
If you think you’ve got
what it takes to knock out
the competition and compete
alongside a courageous hero in
the final challenge, you should
enter now.
It’s easy to do so. All
you need to do is visit
http://www.4×4competition.co.za
and enter your details. A
Fortuner valued at R556 400,
as well as other prizes valued at
over R60 000, could be yours.
MORE BRAINS
THAN BRAWN?
Don’t count yourself
out of this challenge,
as you can also
partake from the
comfort of your own
sofa. Place your bet
and back the hero
you think has what
it takes to win this
year’s challenge.
Guess correctly and
you stand a chance
at winning one of the
two Fortuners.
Toyota is looking
for candidates who
have the ability to
spot a winner. All
entrants who back
the correct winning
hero will be entered
into a random draw.
One lucky entrant will
then be selected as
the winner.
