Some BMW trainees got together and built this one-off
X7 pickup. What do you guys think? Yes, no or maybe?

Willie Britz: Thank goodness they
are trainees! BMW would never
allow such an ugly object into their
perfect circle! Good design for
a battery-operated kiddies’ car
though because kids won’t give a
damn what the neighbours think.

Daniel Steyn: This must be the
reason the boss is leaving BMW.

Morné Assam: I’ll take TWO.


Martin B Sneppen: We’re going to
get more and more pick-ups here
in Europe in the coming years...
they are practical.

Sean Fenwick: I think the 3.
EcoBoost would have been a better
fit but okay... This could still be
good fun... #properrangerraptor.

Attyboy Mthethwa: The Ranger
design team must get the reward;
those guys know what
they’re doing.

Callie Pretorius: Now you can call
it a true Raptor.

Werner Wentzel: Can we also
get the Raptor with the 2.3T
(Mustang) Ecoboost engine
please? It’s certainly not going to be
called the hairdresser’s alternative
like in the Mustang.

You can’t buy a Ranger Raptor in the USA. So, the guys in the
USA built their own. With 270kW and 600Nm of torque...
