The National Motorcycle
Museum’sLIVE events
have gone from strength to
strength over the past five
years and details have
been released of the latest.
Saturday,October 26
will see the museum host
the sixth annual free open
day when everyone willbe
invited to visit the museum
free of charge. Now oneof
the largest events in the
biking calendar,there will
also be ahost of other
attractions, including
NMM’s‘Stars on Stage’
feature (hosted by Steve
Plater), ‘Meet the Experts’
where specialists will
answer questions, and the
‘Start Up’ feature where
some amazing machinery
will be seen and heard.
Don’t forget that TV’s
Henry Cole will be doing
a‘Shed and Buried’
special from the event.
Added to this is the
large indoor auto-jumble
held within the warm
and dry surroundingsof
the National Motorcycle
Museum, as well as trade
stands and displays. The
museum shop will also be
open throughout the event,
sellingahuge rangeof
classic motorcycling books,
clothing and memorabilia,
while the museum’schefs
will be cookingawide
range of meals and snacks
for most of the day.
