Chassis bears much resemblance to early specials...Late 2CV hints at the era of the initial build.PJR moves over to Peter’s workshop.MGB’s twin SU carburettors now plumbed in....and looked particularly period out in the sun....Peter was proud of his workmanship.Ash frame was one of many traditional touches...Neighbours would often ask how it was progressing.The bulkhead gets lick of green paint.Peter painted the body with hand and brush.Stripped MGB components fitted nicely....that needed to be perfect before Peter moved on.Space was always at a premium at home.Unpainted aluminium body panels fitted...Peter and the finished article.060 PJR.indd 62 01/08/2019 12:45 pm
