Whippersnapper’s
golden girl
I couldn’t miss the unmistakeable
profile of this Slipstream folding
caravan on a recent visit to
Gouritsmond. The unlikely owner is
24-year-old Julian van Rensburg from

the outdoors very much and plans to visit
more of the caravan parks dotted
along the lovely Garden Route.

hands to be spruced up and modernised

The Slipstream’s hard panels were
resprayed, and Julian also paint-stripped
the aftermarket wheels to respray them.
The cabin consists of a double- and single
bed, a wardrobe that collapses cleverly
