It lookslikeanoasis,witha sparkling
andcleanswimmingpoolandbeautiful
greenlawns,palmtreesandplentyof
othershadytreestotakeshelterfromthe
swelteringheatandsipona chilleddrink–
ourtripwasintheheartofsummer.Grass
coversallthestandsandthey’respacious–
they’realsoatdifferentlevels,separatedby
grassyembankments.
If youdon’thavea caravanorcamping
equipment,thenyoucanalsocheckinto
one of the self-catering chalets – each
one with its own Jacuzzi on the stoep. The
ablution facilities are not only modern but
also kept immaculately clean throughout
the day.

Being a member of a 4x4 club means your

camping trips involve an off-road trail, and that’s

exactly what Llewellyn Pieterse from Parow

North had planned in the Cederberg.

WAS IT EXPENSIVE?

The cost to camp during the December

holiday period was just R130 per person per

night. This was our second time there and

we’ve enjoyed the place so much that we’ve

already booked again for the end of

this year.
