Cut all the cabinet parts to
size. Plywood thicknesses
vary slightly, so double-check
dimensions as you build.
Sand all the parts, and then
screw the drawer glides to
the drawer cabinet sides
(don’t use glue, in case you
need to make adjustments).
Assemble both cabinets.

Cut the shelf standards to
length. Install the standards
using No. 6 x 3/4-in. screws,
with the factory ends of the
standards set on the cabi-
net’s bottom. Attach the
hinge panel cover strips to
both cabinets. Apply finish.

Cut to length the hangers
and spacers that support the
lower shelf. Attach the hang-
ers to the cabinets using
pan-head screws.

Cut the large shelf and shelf
brackets to size. Attach brack-
ets flush with the ends of the
shelf using pan-head screws.
