I have subscribed to Car and
Driver since about 1970, and
the comparison test of sports
cars in the October issue
[“Deep Roots, Long Shad-ows”] is conclusive proof that
hell has most certainly frozen
over. A BMW finishing last
while a Porsche is topped
by a Toyota and, heaven
forbid, a Ford finishing
first? Next I suppose you’re
going to tell me that the new
Corvette is actually going
to be a mid-engine model!

Returned with an enormous

it been $10,000 cheaper, like
mine, and had it had the phe-
