theatre post D-Day.
I started with MIG-1008 Dark
Wash around the running gear
and engine deck, and then used a
mixture of MIG-1001 Africa Korps wash
and MIG-3507 Dark Green Oilbrusher
around the vehicle. Some minimal
streaking down the panels was carried
out with further Oilbrusher
colours and when
dry a light coat ofTamiya XF-57 was
blown upwards with my
airbrush across the lower hull
to replicate the distinctive Normandy
summer dust. With a few touch ups to
the interior and the stowage and then
the crew inal itted in position this
one was complete.
Again, Tamiya delivers another a
sublime model kit, and you will not be
disappointed with what you get here.
Lovely detail, fool proof instructions
and excellent tooling design make
building a real pleasure and out of
the box you can put together
a great looking build
with very little efort.
I was very impressed,
and the kit comes highly
recommended to all.
