I
f you need to take your notebook away from home,
do it in style. STM makes some of the best notebook
bags ever, and their Myth series 28-litre rucksacks
are no exception.
Built with the traveller in mind, there’s plenty of room
for your overnight bits and pieces. And if you have more
luggage to tote, there’s a pass-through slot on the back so
you can mount it on the handle of a wheeled suitcase. It’s
comfortable to carry too, with an air channel back-pan-
el-and-yoke system (the mind boggles) to keep the weight
evenly distributed, and an airflow across your back, so
you don’t sweat buckets as you walk. Naturally, there’s an
excellent compartment for your notebook, with extra
padding on the corners to ensure it comes to no grief even
if your rucksack is roughly handled, and there are plenty
of pockets to keep your charger, cables, and other such
nick-knacks safe and sound.
Clever design is evident throughout. If you need to
charge on the go, there’s a slot for your mobile battery
and a portal through which you can thread your
charging cable, allowing you to juice up your tech
without waiting around. A water-repellent
coating has been added to the fabric, so its
contents don’t get a soaking, even if you do,
while coil zip fasteners protect the zip’s
teeth, keeping out moisture and gunge. It’s
large enough to carry a 15-inch notebook,
so it’s great for all recent Mac laptops. And
we’ve got two to give away.
