ARCNATIONAL PLATINUM BULL AWARDS

Thiscategory, also known as the ‘best from the best’, requires that recipients have been bred

fromprevious recipients of the Elite Cow Awards. Winning bulls must have exceptional

performance figures, and while it is possible that more than one bull for every breed is eligible

forthisaward, very few bulls generally qualify due to the stringent adjudication criteria.

Eligiblebulls must have received a gold merit certificate during an ARC Phase C test, and

thebull’sdam must have received her Elite Cow status during the same year. Bulls must

alsohavecompleted their Phase C tests between 1 January 2018 and 31 December 2018.

Thiscategory has been contested for 24 years, and GMPBasic, one of the ARC’s valued

partners,has been sponsoring this award category for seven consecutive years.
