Aircraft Edition Markings were sourced from
Xtradecals' 1:48 scale decal set
X48100, Hawker Tempest Mk.V.Panel lines were highlighted with
a subtle mix of Future floor polish,
water; plus a few drops of black
and brown acrylic paint.I also added exhaust streaks
on the fuselage sides and
the lower fuselage.
The canopy was masked
using the included die-cut
self-adhesive masks. Smaller details were painted in advance of final assembly.
