A new distribution block was sourced from

Inline Tube. It came with the correct bracket

and bolted into place without any issues.

The M-2300-G rear-disc kit uses a solid rotor with single-piston floating calipers and an

internal drum-type emergency brake. This kit was based on Explorer production parts, so

replacement parts are easy to source.

The front clip on the Duster had almost 50 years of wear and tear on it, so we sent it out for

soda-blasting and paint. That wasn’t in our original plans, but we’re glad we did it. The car

looks a lot nicer and is much easier to work on now that it’s clean.

Below: The previous owner had installed a

Strange Engineering S60 rearend, complete

with a Ford Motorsports M-2300-G disc

brake kit. This was a popular kit back in the

day, and it should work OK with the Viper

kit up front, so we decided to keep it.
