Not only old cars are sitting in
barns waiting to be found. Before
ODB II ports and laptops, we tuned
our cars with engine analyzers. I’ve
always wanted one and just hap-
pened to stumble upon one in an
old garage that had been closed for
15-plus years. A crew was there
cleaning it up for the new owner
and helped loading it in the back of
my truck. The second one (Sun
1115) I found on a surplus school
district auction site in Tucson, Ari-
zona, and won for $137. It works
great, has all of the probes and
manual, and even tests exhaust
gases. They look great in the
garage even if you have an EFI
system now.
