owriding is often passed down from one generation to the next, but our next featured
guest fell into lowriding shortly after finding the love of his life. As an operations
manager for Delta Airlines, Pedro Nunez called New York City his home, but after finding
love in Florida, his frequent visits exposed him to the lowriding scene in Florida.
As the relationship grew, Pedro put in for a transfer. As he soaked in the Florida sights and sounds,
his inspiration grew into a lust to have a lowrider of his own. Now, he’s not only a member of 25th
Street Riders Car Club, but also the proud owner of this custom ’64 Impala.
Finished in Nason Indigo Blue, this ’64 sports a complete hydraulic setup, a refreshed 327ci
engine, and, in the end, he named the car “El Pepe 64”—a name inspired by the nickname his
mot her once gave h i m. In a l l, it ’s a bu i ld t hat was i nspi red b y t he ch i ld hood memor ies he has of h is
father as he strolled the town in a ’65, and it’s a story that further reinforces the passion and
dedication that goes into each and every one of our rides. Head over to http://www.lowrider.com/rides/
