t the July 13 Los Angeles premiere of
his new Fast & Furious spinoff mov-
ie, Hobbs & Shaw, Dwayne “the Rock”
Johnson mingled with throngs of fans
and industry execs. But there was one
person by his side all evening— longtime
girlfriend Lauren Hashian. And when
the night was over, it wasn’t the glam-
our of the red carpet he remembered.
Johnson posted a photo of him and Hashian, 34,
on Instagram, calling her “my much better half ”
and writing, “Best part about this night is by 11pm,
we’re already at home, in our sweatpants and sip-
pin’ on tequila. My kinda night and my kinda gal.”
And then some. A month later Johnson, 47,
made the surprising announcement that he
and Hashian, a songwriter/music producer and
mother of his two daughters Jasmine, 3, and Tia-
na, 16 months, had made it official, marrying in an
intimate ceremony in the actor’s beloved state of
Hawaii. Sharing two photos from their wedding
day, Johnson wrote, “We do. August 18th, 2019.
Hawaii. Pōmaikai ( blessed).”

ed by a small group of close
family, the couple exchanged

The actor first met Hashian in 2006 when he
was shooting The Game Plan, and the two began
dating in 2007. Married previously for 10 years to
one of his producing partners, Dany Garcia, with
whom he has one daughter, Simone, 18, Johnson
told People in 2012 that he was “so fortunate to
have fallen in love once. To fall in love again? That’s
a hard thing to do twice in the position I’m in. I’m
one lucky son of a bitch.” Now as he and Hashian
(who call Florida home) begin their life together
as husband and wife, the former Sexiest Man Alive
is already grateful for the family they’ve created as
well. “Watching Lauren be a mom has been one of
the most enlightening things I’ve ever seen,” he
told People in 2016. “As a man, you see your lady,
your partner, your woman, you see them in a cer-
tain light and then when they become ‘Mom,’ it’s a
whole other perspective that if you open your eyes
wide enough, it’s like a kaleidoscope. You click it a
