twins! Yes that’s right, like new parents
we’ve got a bunch of photos we’re
proudly showing of our bundles of joy, a
pigeon pair of 2019 Mack Titans. These
trucks are gaining a huge amount of
street cred with their big horsepower
and automatic transmissions making
them a no-brainer investment for
people like the John and Keren
Carmichael from Carmichael
Ivanhoe in Far North Queensland.
As much as we all love the
old school, there’s plenty to be
said about almost 700hp with an
automatic transmission. As John
Carmichael says, “how simple it is
to get into the truck, push drive, put
your foot on the brake and away it
goes! Add to this a snazzy coat of
paint and all the trimmings and it’s
not hard to see why the Carmichaels
doubled up on the Titans.
We’ve got another treat for
Everyday Truckie this month aswell, a lady behind the wheel of a
big rig! We’re big fans of affirmative
action here at Truckin’ Life and we
love to see females thriving in the
industry. Chantelle Maloney is living
her dream of getting paid to travel
the country and it’s great to see
she loves the industry because she
shares the same values of freedom
and adventure that we all love. So if
you see Chantelle in her T401, make
sure you show her the respect she
deserves!
In Event news this month,
Emmanuelle heads to the 32nd
Penrith Working Truck Show. If
you’ve been under a rock since 1989
you’ll have to come out and check it
out because this is one of the iconic
shows and as you’ll see in these
pages, it showcases some of the best
trucks you’ll come across. A fantastic
event each and every year and this
one was no different.
And we’ve also got all the other
usual bits and pieces so from all the
