earning to love yourself and feel beau-
tiful in your own skin is a challenge
at times and it can take years to truly
appreciate your body and what it does for
you every single day. I believe having babies
taught me to really love my own body and
made me realize it’s okay if it’s not perfect.
Perfection can never be attained but you can
be healthy and be happy with what you see
in the mirror regardless of weight, height
or shape.
I was in modeling and acting from a
very young age. Oftentimes in Hollywood,
there’s a lot of emphasis put on looks. This can
put a lot of pressure on young girls. I definitely
felt that pressure at times, to look a certain way
to fit the stereotype of what is considered beau-
tiful. I was always nervous when those BOLD
AND BEAUTIFUL scripts would be delivered
to me with bikini or lingerie scenes!
Most recently, I decided to do a few model-
ing campaigns that were offered to me. It’s
been really fun! I’ve been in “Mommyland”,
and up until a couple of months ago I hadn’t
done an entertainment project for five years. So
this has been exciting for me.
I was walking through a mall and the owner

of Momper Romper, a high-end women’s and
children’s romper clothing company, asked
me to model for her company. The sweetest
thing about it is that she asked my children,
too. It was so fun working with my kids and
showing them the ropes. When I first started
modeling as a child, I was “discovered” at a
mall in San Diego, so I laughed when it hap-
pened this way again so many years later.
Shortly after that campaign, my kids and
I were asked to do a photo shoot for Fashion
& Fairytales Boutique in Las Vegas. They
carry amazing brands such as Free People,
Chaser, Vintage Havana and Moon Denim.
