him. He finds Ted dead. Ste-
fan sees the gun and picks
it up ... just as Jack and Eli
arrive. He is arrested.
Gabi calls Brady to
gloat over her triumph.
Brady cautions her that it’s
lonely at the top. When
Brady heads out, Gabi
can’t help but feel guilty
about betraying Stefan.

COOL RIDER
Jennifer fills in Abe
about what Eve did to Jack.
Jack comes upon them and
is cool to Jennifer. Abe
thinks that Jack is denying
his feelings.

OLD PATTERNS
Tony cautions Brady
not to trifle with “Nicole”.
“Nicole” comes home after
and asks Tony to leave her
alone with Brady. She vents

to Brady that her marriage

to Tony didn’t result in her

getting DiMera Enterprises

back. Brady tells her that

Gabi kicked Stefan to the

curb. “Nicole” is hopeful

that she can outwit Gabi

but says it wouldn’t mean

anything without Brady by

her side. Brady finally gives

in and he and “Nicole”

make love.

MURDER ONE

Hope sees a woman

— Kristen in disguise —

acting strangely. Kristen is

trying to dispose of the cash

and necklace she stole from

Ted’s apartment and drops

some money in her rush to

complete her task. Before

Hope can investigate, Eli

breaks the news to Hope

that Ted has been murdered,

likely by Stefan. Stefan

proclaims his innocence,

but Hope reveals a threat he

made against Ted earlier.

Kate sees Tony and

faints, thinking it’s Andre.

He revives her and assures

her that he’s Tony. She is

confused to hear that Tony

married Nicole.

Hope informs Kate that

Ted was murdered. Kate pri-

vately fears Kristen did it.

FOR THE DEFENSE

Rafe tells Gabi about

Stefan’s arrest. She instinc-

tively defends him. Rafe

picks up on her feelings for

him, which she can’t deny.

Rafe warns her to be careful.

Later, Stefan surprises Gabi

by returning home.

TRASH TALK

Hope and Kayla discuss

Ted’s death. Hope tells

Kayla about her strange

encounter with the woman

who dropped the money.

Hope returns to the area to

look in the trash and finds

Ted’s necklace. She’s hold-

ing it when Rafe comes up

behind her. 

What does Rex do after learning about Eric (Greg
Vaughan, l.) and Sarah? Kyle Lowder says:

“He storms over to Eric’s and they have an epic
argument. And in that moment, Rex is just decid-
ing, ‘What I am gonna do?’ He finally is like, ‘I can’t
be in Salem. I’m out of here.’ ”

• Anna returns
