papaya helps to even out a patchy
skin tone. Take the flesh (remove the
seeds and skin) of the fruit, mash
and mix with 2tbsp plain yoghurt

is anti-inflammatory. Purée two
bulbs, mix with the juice of ½ a
lemon and ½ a cup of water.
Boil, then cool in a fridge. Soak

skin, then rinse off with
water.

SOOTHE WITH CUCUMBER
As well as being an anti-
inflammatory, cucumbers contain
vitamin C to help revive skin. Peel
one, add it to 3tbsp milk and mix
in a blender. Place in the fridge
for 10 mins before applying.

water.

With oodles of moisture, honey
is a great softener. Combine
with ground walnuts (crush
them with a pestle and
mortar), then massage into
skin before rinsing off.

Thanks to its drying effect, salt
is a dab hand at creating a relaxed
wave. Mix 2tbsp with 200ml water
and spritz on the lengths. Twist
into sections and pin up against
your head with hair grips.

While it’s not an instant fix, the oils
and antioxidants in this superfood will
