Chloe, 36, returns
for another shot at
romance on the new
series of Celebs Go
Dating alongside her
sister Demi and former
Love Island star Megan
Barton Hanson.

You are back on Celebs Go
Dating for the second time

  • are you hoping for better
    luck this time?
Well, I didn’t have that much

bad luck, I just didn’t fall in
love with the guy I met. He was
lovely, but it wasn’t anything
serious. This time I go back
with a better understanding
of how dating works, but I
can still do with some more
tips which is what the agency
offers me. The show is fun
to do, it’s laid-back and a bit
tongue-in-cheek. There’s no
bitchiness in it either, which
is rare. I also love working
with Tom [Read Wilson. The
show’s posh receptionist] – we
get on so well.
Your younger sister Demi
is doing the show with you,
isn’t she?
Yeah, we are doing double
dates together which makes it
a lot easier, because it can be a
bit nerve-wracking walking in
on your own to meet a guy you
have never met – in front of a
camera crew. But with Demi
there it makes it feel all the
more comfortable. But
I won’t be taking
any advice on
dating from
Demi, that’s
for sure!
Would you
say you
have been
unlucky in
love in the
past?
Not completely.
I had a long

relationship with my
daughter’s dad, Matthew, and
I’ve had other relationships
that I have ended myself
because they weren’t really
working the way I wanted.
More recently I have had
a few little moments that
have made me unhappy –
but I think that’s the same
for everyone, I don’t carry
it around with me or feel
sorry for myself. I am very
independent and if I think
someone isn’t who I thought
he was, I just don’t want to
know them anymore. You just
have to get on with your life.
Your mum left you when
you were three years old.
Do you think you fear
rejection?
Not really. I’m still sad about
it, but I have a really good
relationship with my dad,
so I try not to think about it.
We are actually a very close
family and my daughter
[Maddie] gets to see her
grandad every week.
What does Maddie think
about you going on Celebs
Go Dating?
To be honest, she doesn’t take
a blind bit of notice. The first
time I went on the show she
didn’t even ask me why I was
doing it. I think because I’ve
always been on TV most of her
life it doesn’t bother her. But
with TOWIE there are certain
