During the lazy days of summer, many rules go out the window—
bedtimes included. To get your kid’s sleep routine back into A+ shape
before the school bell rings, follow these tips.

Slowly tweak their schedule.
A week or two before school begins, start gradually adjusting your child’s
sleep schedule in small increments. Have them go to bed 15 minutes
earlier each night and wake up 15 minutes earlier each morning in order
to recalibrate their little bodies to the new routine.

Encourage healthy habits.
A balanced diet and regular exercise are known to promote sleep for
