but at the time of testing, Porsche was
still fitting extra fire extinguishers. And in


this company, a base Carrera would stick
out like a kazoo in a violin partita.
We took our supercar trio north
from Sydney to Putty Road for one
unbelievable day. Stopping short of
requesting an agreement signed in blood,
Ferrari lent us the Speciale on condition
this wasn’t a comparison. Rather, it’s a
celebration. Three NA supercars, two with
trembling 9000rpm redlines. Let’s go.
