I am proud of what we did at GE14.
It’s a story that the whole world
needs to know, that on May 9
2018, the Malaysian people came
together to change who governed
them for the fi rst time in 60 years.
And we did it without shedding a single drop of
blood. That’s an uncommon story these days. In
other countries, change has sometimes been violent
and people have died. But we did it the Malaysian
way, and proved that we are a democratic country.
That is something for the history books and I
think all schoolchildren must be educated on the
importance of that day, because democracy won.
I hope Malaysians will realise that the real power
is actually in their hands, something they had

Filming Begins
On this date, Datin Dian and Ineza
started work on fi lming Tun M.
The crew followed him as he made
appearances at speeches and campaigned
for his parliamentary candidacy seat in
Langkawi, Kedah. “He would sit down
with us to vlog about his day, sharing
how it went,” says Datin Dian.
