T

hey’ve only been dating for a matter
of weeks, but Caroline Flack’s
relationship with handsome tennis
player and model Lewis Burton has
already hit its first hurdle after his ex accused
him of being on the “rebound”.
However, a source close to the Love Island
host, 39, has told new! that after her string of
failed relationships – including her ill-fated
engagement to Andrew Brady last year –
Caroline couldn’t care less!
“Caroline feels like she has found her
power,” revealed our insider. “She is so
much tougher now than she was after her
relationship imploded with Andrew last

year. That was it for her – she put
everything into hopes she would
marry him and when it all went
south, she decided, ‘No more!’”
Since splitting from Andrew
in November, Caroline has dated
rugby hunk Danny Cipriani and
was linked to her personal
trainer Bradley Simmonds.
And it’s these false starts that
have given Caroline a fresh
perspective on her love life.
“She doesn’t believe every
relationship has potential for a
happy ending. She thinks that’s
naive,” continued our mole.
“Her pals aren’t worried
she’s going to get hurt because
her expectations are zero.”
Last week, Lewis’s
ex-girlfriend of six years,
Lauren Rose, claimed the
pair only split up 11 weeks
ago. She stuck the knife in
by adding that Lewis had
asked her to go on holiday
to the Maldives with him
just two weeks earlier.
“He’s playing us both,” said
Lauren. “I know it’s a rebound,
but that will show in time.”
But our insider says
Caroline isn’t going to let the
comments affect her.
“Caroline is Teflon to what

others say. She just
thinks Lauren is sad
and is striking back,
but it’s not going to put
a dent in Caroline’s
good time,” continued
the source.
“She and Lewis are
getting along brilliantly
right now because
there is zero pressure.”
Earlier this month
it was revealed that
Caroline had reportedly
bagged a £1.2 million-a-
year contract with ITV after it was announced
there would be two series of Love Island
aired next year.
Our source added that having her career go
from strength to strength has helped Caz feel
more content with her life and more secure in
her relationship with 27-year-old Lewis.
“She knows how to negotiate and is proud
she will be getting more cash for her wildly
successful hosting role on Love Island,”
continued the pal. “She no longer feels like
she needs a man to be who she wants to be,
but she loves the thrill of a new relationship.
“Of course she couldn’t help herself when
Lewis chased her. He’s fun, but she doesn’t
care whether he’s The One. She is at the
height of her success and wants to enjoy
her popularity.”
Relationship expert and psychologist Dr
