all positive. I’m
always surprised
when I see young
girls with lip fillers- especially at
their age, they
don’t need any
artificial help! I
don’t like it, I do
worry for them
in the future.
If you have lip
fillers and then
stop, the skin can
shrink and be
more wrinkled
than if you hadn’t
had them!
Your daughter,
Lucy Anne, is part
of that generation...
She is, but thankfully, she
doesn’t buy into any of it.
She’s totally natural and that’s
the way she’s decided to stay!
If you’ve ever watched that
programme Botched, on E!,
you’ll realise how many things
can go wrong with procedures- it’s terrifying! Putting an
artificial substance in your
body can’t be good. Back in
my modelling days, we didn’t
even retouch pictures. It was
a more innocent time.
Have you had any
cosmetic work done?
No. Boob jobs weren’t even

magazine. You didn’t have to
conform as much to a certain
look, size or shape. I didn’t feel
the pressure young girls have
now. We didn’t have social
media, either.Would you have any
cosmetic surgery in future?
Never say never, but I’m not
sure I’d bother! The older I
get, the less likely I am to get
anything done. Sadly, I’ve
had friends and family dying- I don’t care if I have a few
wrinkles. I’ve had Botox on
my forehead before, didn’t like
it, never had it again. Other
things are more important in
my life. I’d never judge anyone
else, though. For some people,
it’s life-changing. If you have a
terrible body hang-up and you
can fix it, I’m all for that. Who
am I to judge anyone?
Still, you’re a wonderful
poster girl for the
gorgeous older woman!

A lot of it is down to your
genes, though. My mum, Lila,
is 86 and still a size 8! And
my dad, who I sadly lost a
couple of years ago, was inincredible shape before he
went. I watch my weight,
but I’m very lucky with
my metabolism. I do feel
sorry for friends who put
on weight easily, but life
is for living, not for being
something your body
doesn’t want to be.What advice would you
give women in need of
some motivation?
Cut back on your portion
sizes, and don’t eat until
you’re hungry! Don’t eat
after 8pm, either. People say
you have to have breakfast,
but I skip it sometimes. My
go-to when I need to trim
down is still SlimFast... but
my downfall is munching
in front of the telly at night
with yummy snacks!What’s your secret to
a happy marriage?
Marry your best friend. Sam
is such a devoted person and
still treats me like he’s only
been with me a week! I’m
romantic with him, too, but
seriously – not a day goes by
when he doesn’t tell me how
much he loves me. If we’re
apart, I’ll always get a little
