On a 4,500m^2 -sized site close to the Yongin Recreational Forests, the headquarters of the coffee manufacturer GSI and the new food-and-
beverage brand Café TONN have been established. The outward appearance of Café TONN, which is placed between the GSI headquarters
and the fountain, was inspired by a coffee table or a wooden bench with a tent. The concave-curved roof expressed the weight of the material
used and the lightness of the form through the placement of the black exposed concrete. The hall located on the second floor of Café TONN is
a 10×30m open space with no columns or partitions. Also, the 4.2m-tall full window provides the view of children playing by the fountain and
opens to the scenery of the sunset. Another charming aspect of Café TONN is the four large columns that are visible from the outside. These
columns, which can be found in large industrial structures such as bridges, support the curved-surface roof in the shape of the flowing drapery
of cloth. By combining the size and form of the constituent parts of the building in various ways, we are trying to express its significance and

용인자연휴양림 인근 4,500m^2 규모의 대지에 커피 제조사 GSI 사옥과 새로운 식음료 브랜드인 카페 톤이 완성됐다. GSI 사옥과
분수를 사이에 두고 앉혀진 카페 톤은 커피 테이블 또는 천막이 있는 평상에서 형태적 영감을 얻었다. 오목하게 휘어진 지붕은 검은색
노출콘크리트 타설을 통해 재료의 무거움과 형태의 가벼움을 동시에 표현했다. 카페 톤의 2층 홀은 기둥과 칸막이가 없는 10×30m의 열린
공간이다. 또한 4.2m 높이의 통유리를 통해 분수에서 아이들이 뛰어노는 모습과 석양이 지는 풍경을 감상할 수 있게 했다. 카페 톤의 또 한
가지 매력은 외부에서 볼 수 있는 네 개의 큰 기둥이다. 교량 같은 큰 산업 구조물에서나 볼 법한 이 기둥들은 나풀거리는 천을 살포시 잡고
있는 듯한 형상으로 곡면의 지붕을 지탱한다. 건축 부재의 크기나 형태를 다양한 방법으로 조합하면서 의외성과 신비로움을 표현하고자
