LEAN AND EFFICIENT
In conjunction with Agile, many busi-
nesses have been won over by Lean
methodology, one of the biggest man-
agement ideas of the past 50 years.
It’s not a new concept by any means,
but its modern application to business
means that it’s constantly evolving.
First championed by Toyota Produc-
tion System in the 1950s and 1960s, at
its core, Lean emphasises the need to
optimise efficiency, minimise waste
and continuously improve to meet cus-
tomers’ needs. In an interview with
