Instructions
First, preheat the oven to about 90ºC.
Then cut thefabric to the sizeyouwant.
Makesureitisbig enough to wrap
around what youwant to protect.Te ar
offapieceofgreaseproof paper slightly
larger than your pieceoffabric. Lay
the greaseproof paper on the baking
sheet and placethefabric on top of the
greaseproof paper.Next, sprinkle the
fabric with beeswax beads. The beads
shouldcover thefabric oncemelted.
Asheet that’s20centimetres square
will need about 15 grams ofwax
beads. Put into the oven and leave for
five minutes or until thewaxmelts.
Ta keit out of the oven and brush the
waxtomakesureitcompletelycovers
thefabric to the very edges.Leave the
wrap tocool, then hang it up to dry.It
is nowready to use, but don’t use it to
wraprawfish or meat.Youcanwash
the wrap withcold orwarmwater and
alittle laundry liquid. Squeezeitout
and hang it up to dry somewherenot
too hot. Do not useatumble drier!

● 100%cottonfabric
(reuse an old
bedsheet, or anything
that is the same sort
of thickness, just
makesureitisclean)
● Scissors
● Greaseproof paper
● Baking sheet
(a flat baking tray)
● Brush (any sort but
it must be clean)
