LITTLE BAG OF

GOODIES
Find a bag your children haven't seen yet or
buy a special holiday bag and give it to your
children in the car before a long journey or
on the aeroplane.

Fill it with stickers, books and small toys
they can play with.

SNACKS
You never know how long a journey might
last with unforseen delays, be prepared
with drinks and snacks.

Try to keep them as mess free as possible
to avoid the extra work at the other end!

USE THAT DEVICE
See it as an opportunity reduce screen time
yourself and download some films or TV
series for your children to watch.

Don't forget headphones to keep the noise
down and also a book or something to keep
you entertained too!

STICK WITH THE

OLD GAMES
Tried and tested for years and years why
not stick with the old favourites such as
eye spy or 21 questions!

If you Google 'Car Journey Games' you will
come up with a whole list of things.

CONSIDER THE

TIME OF DAY
If you're travelling late and you know it will
pass bedtimes, get your children into the
car in their pyjama's.

This will keep them super comfy and also
with any luck straight into bed the other
end.
