closer to the western horizon
and Pegasus is standing on one
corner—resembling more of
a diamond than a square. The
first-quarter moon is gaining in
brightness and interferes with
seeing the fainter winter stars.
However, you may still make
out the Northern Cross (Cygnus
the Swan) setting vertically
below the northwest horizon.
The year 2020 is a leap
