online multiplayer has been added, karts can

now be customised, and the Adventure Mode has

been ramped up with cutscenes and boss battles.

There are 26 characters from the Crash universe

to try out, too. So, while the game may not have

the class of Mario or the team features of Sonic,

Crash still delivers super fun tracks for you and

up to three friends to race through.

Now for something completely different.

Have you ever wondered what it would be

like to build your own supercar? To start off

with some old, wrecked vehicle that has been

abandoned and left at the tip, then slowly fix

up the engine, buff out the dents and marks,

spray it all with a new colour and make it

into an all new beast again? It’s definitely a

different way to look at a racing game, but

if you like building titles such as Minecraft,

you may get really into it. The idea is to try

and make money by getting an old car for

nothing and rebuilding it into something that

is worth big dollars. First you go to the tip

and choose a dumped car, then you take it

back to your garage and begin replacing the

panelling, choosing from the various options

to make it look just like you want. You can

use equipment from in your garage to make

big changes – such as lifting it up in the air so

you can get under it - and it’s nice how all the

parts are highlighted when you hover over it,

allowing you to then go in to them and pull

them apart so you can fix and clean them. It’s

surprisingly addictive and will teach you quite

a bit about building cars. Plus, at the end, you

get to take the car for a spin on the track to

see how it handles!
