Thought YouTube was just for the kids? Two UAE mums
use a talk show to bring parents into the picture
TWO MUMS, NINA Aeckerle-Ekambi from
Germany and Romina Arougueti from
Argentina, both pregnant for the Àrst time in
Dubai in 2017, found that they were soaking
up so much knowledge about pregnancy and
birth and motherhood that they wondered
what else they could do with it all. At the
same time, they were always looking for
more answers and support. Arougueti was
already following a number of Facebook
groups at that stage while Aeckerle-Ekambi
was more of a YouTube person so together
they decided to set up their own social media
channel Think Like Mama to champion other
parents and their personal stories. The two
entrepreneurs describe their platform as
a growing library of parenting experiences
