Obviously you were born into racing,
how was growing up with a champion
as your father:
Very hard as I spent hardly any time
with him and when I did random
people would come up asking for
photos and autographs.

When was your first actual race ride
and where:
My first ride was at Thirsk on a horse
called Rhigolter Rode on August 31,
2018.

Which stable do you work for or ride
out at the moment:
William Haggas

Who are your jockey idols you look up
to or maybe base yourself on?
Dad

What and when was your first winner:
Plucky Dip at Leicester in a hands and
heels race at 25/1, September 2018

Which racecourses do you like / dis-
like and why:
Windsor as I have had my most suc-
cess there and I don’t dislike any track

What is the best horse you have ever

ridden:

I have ridden a lot of Group 1 horses in

Mr Haggas’ yard

What time do you get up in the morn-

ing and describe your average kind of

day?

4:30 I wake up, ride out for Mr Haggas

then go home get ready for the races

and head off, study my races I’m riding

in call the trainers and then race ride.

After the races on the way home call

The loss of horses

watch or play away from racing?

Playing golf and watching rugby
