sun on Honeydew’s 900-acre Cali farm.

While the idea is far from new, the Pechoti Method has
been receiving a great deal of attention online recently.
So what exactly is it? The practice of putting essential
oils in the belly button is a time-honored tradition in
Ayurvedic medicine. Practitioners believe there is a
gland (the Pechoti gland...) located behind the belly
button. And, the thinking goes, the gland connects
directly with the stomach. So, some think, the Pechoti
Method makes use of this unique delivery system,
as cannabis oil applied to the belly button would be
absorbed throughout the body. Such an application
would be non-psychoactive, similar to a cannabis-
infused topical used for joint pain. Supporters believe it’s
effective for those suffering from central nervous system
disorders, gastrointestinal problems and more. But does
