Throw on a gold ring with nude polish, and
you’re elegant. But layer on gold rings
(plural) with nude polishes (plural) and
you’re elegant and also very cool and kind
of an artistic genius. Start with two coats of
a nude that matches your skin. Once that’s
dry, take a kitchen sponge cut into quarter-
inch strips and use it to dab a lighter nude
along the tip of each nail. Then dab a line
of your base color right underneath it.
Keep stippling until the two colors are
married into a richly pigmented ombré.
