7. Cut and piece solid white 3×42"
   strips to make:
   ▫ 2—3× 911 ⁄ 2 " border 3 strips
   ▫ 2—3× 961 ⁄ 2 " border 3 strips


8. Sew short border 3 strips to
   opposite edges of quilt center. Add
   long border 3 strips to remaining
   edges to complete quilt top. Press all
   seams toward border 2.

FINISH QUILT

1. Layer quilt top, batting, and backing;
   baste. (For details, see Complete Quilt,
   page 103.)


2. Quilt as desired. Crystal Zagnoli
   machine-quilted a flower motif across
   the quilt top (Quilting Diagram).


3. Bind with solid light peach binding
   strips. (For details, see Complete Quilt.)
